    Angry key is still red

I emailed support a few weeks back twice and havent heard back at all.

The key in my vbseocp.php is red and will not turn green, im running Current version: vBSEO 3.0.0 RC3

Also because my key has been red for a few weeks now, does this mean my VBSEO is not working?

    Hello Sean,

Have you submitted a support ticket for this issue? That, or the troubleshooting forums is the best way of getting support as we do not have an official support email.

    Re: Red key
That means that the key as saved in your vbseocp does not match your website key.

Try clearing the key in your vbseocp, save and re-enter the key. Let me know if that helps.

    Best,
    Juan

Yes, vBSEO still works. The red key is just an indicator pointing that the hard-coded key is not the same as the key stored in datastore.

This was put in place to insure that vBSEO wouldn't stop working if your datastore tables were cleared for some reason. The fact that it was red, tells you that vBSEO indeed continued working properly, otherwise, a notice asking to contact us would have been displayed.

Now (with the green key), if you loose your datastore data, vBSEO will use the hardcoded key instead
