    Thumbs down

I'm just adding this information onto the end of this thread in the hope that it might help other people avoid wasting the 3 hours that I just wasted.

I was having an issue with being told that my ioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll needs to be loaded.

I was trying every single possible to load it via php.ini, checking every support thread both on this forum and others. Reading all ioncube documentation, etc.

Then I discovered that there are actually two windows versions now for php 5.2. I noticed on the download page for ioncube that there was a second version called "Windows (NonTS)". I downloaded this, replaced the .dll and everything started working!

However, the instructions are identical to the other version, and after spending a further 30 minutes trying to see if I could find a single explanation as to what this non-TS version is, and who should use it, I gave up.

There was absolutely nothing about this in the ioncube forums, help files, instructions, FAQs. Heck - even several google queries turned up nothing explaining what this alternative version, and who should use it. But I know one thing - I should use it.

Hopefully this info may help others who've tried every other solution.

    In summary:

A big thumbs down to ioncube for failing to provide adequate information about this, and:

A big thumbs down also goes out to vBSEO for making us (or rather me) go through a completely unnecessary exercise of using additional unnecessary software to make their product work.

Since you're on a Windows server, you will need to download the Windows loaders.

As Markf above pointed out :
    >..there are actually two windows versions now for php 5.2. I >noticed on the download page for ioncube that there was a second >version called "Windows (NonTS)".

Which one do I need the NonTs or the other one?

You should use "Windows (x86)" version.

    Hello,

please try to increase memory_limit setting in your PHP configuration.

I have a PHP Version 4.4.4 and I still get this error and that file is installed through the FTP panel.

Site error: the file /home/www.global-gamers.net/forums/vbseocp.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.
