I've updated to PHP 5.1.1 because of the security risks of the older versions and because PHP 4.4.1 has broken mod_rewrite.
Zend optimizer is not available for PHP 5.1.x so I've tried to use the Ioncube Version of vBSEO 2.3.0. But this does not work![]()
I load the Ioncube loader through my php.ini and the testscripts (from Ioncube and the test.php from vBSEO) runs fine. No errors.
But after installing vBSEO with Ioncube apache segfaults. Yes, I've used binary mode during upload.... Same with vBSEO 2.2.2.
When the index page loads apache runs into a segfault error and I see only a "test output" in html. Could this be a compatibility problem or an Ioncube problem?
Now my forum run without vBSEO but with PHP 5.1.1 to be more secure than before....
Btw.: as in the zend forum posted, it is possible that zend releases the free optimizer in two weeks but not before.
Any tips?
Daniel
