ioncube issue

Hi,

I contacted my hosting company to asked for ioncube to be installed and I recieived the reply below. Can I run vbSEO without this function? Or have I just blown my money on an application that isn't supported by my hosting company in Australia?

Unfortunately, currenlty we do not support ioncube on our servers. This is due to security and privacy issues as you are on a shared server. It is in possible in the
future we may have these services available.

You would require dedicated hosting to have ioncube instaled with smartyhost.

Dedicated services mean you can have anything you wish installed.

There are no security or privacy issues with having ionCube on a shared server. Try escalating it to a higher level technician at your host.

Thank you for your feedback. I am currently looking at changing hosts so I can use your software.

Just as an FYI for any users in Australia, don't use SmartyHost for a site that has anything above a basic webpage.
