Internet explorer cannont open the internet site [thread] Operation Aborted

I installed the latest version on Sunday, and some IE users are having major problems getting onto my site.

is there a bug fix for this latest version?

Says in the footer that vbseo is installed but the URL's dont seem to be rewritten (apart from tags) :s

I don't want the url's to be rewritten though, or is that a necessity?

i have the same problem ,i got users on msn and twitter ,that are complaining that the site is not viewable ,i dont get it
i use FF and no problems ,only ie users are complaining

I worked out that for my forum it was the 'cyb flash banner rotator' that was stopping the IE users getting on, once I turned that off everything worked ok.

got this solved by disabling the cyb shoutbox , so one problem down one to go ,tnx for the feedback

I still have the same problem - IE users cannot get view the forum - they get 404 error.

All hacks are switched off..

No, it doesn't work even if vBSEO is disabled. But it works if the line

RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php [L,QSA] 

is commented in .htaccess file.

The only custom change I am doing with this forum is overwritting header, headinclude and footer templates by adding some html data from another project.

Please check if it works correct with default vBulletin style

Yes, with original vbulletin template works fine.. So the problem is in template changes..

Yep , iit looks like the problem is related to your custom template.
