    Internal server error

    Hi

    I have recently moved hosts and am getting the following error;

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@bikerforum.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    They have checked the logs and this is their response;

    On checking our server logs, we can see..

    Time: Tue May 5 13:11:23 2009 +0100
    Account: *****
    Resource: Virtual Memory Size
    Exceeded: 133 > 128 (MB)
    Executable: /usr/bin/php
    Command Line: /usr/bin/php /home/*****/public_html/forums/vbseo.php
    PID: 17768
    Killed: Yes

    I assume that is part of VBulletin, so everytime the page loads, it tries to allocate 133MB per process (each page load) which alot considering that there maybe multiple users loading pages at the same time, but our fair limit is 128Mb.

    If you can set a memory limit within your script, this should ensure that it does not go above it and thus resolve the ISE pages you are seeing.
    I have disabled the yahoo sitemap generation because this is all I could find on the subject following a search.

    The forum is Version 3.6.8 and I am running vBSEO 3.2.0

    Is their a way to cure this? Or alternatively set the memory limit somewhere in the config?

    you can set memory_limit variable in php.ini on your server. but, 128 should be MORE than enough. Most pages use about 2mb of memory....

    what mods do you have installed besides vbseo?
