Interesting Forum Problem

I have a weird problem with vBSEO and vBulletin. When I create a forum with vBSEO enabled and the .htaccess file named correctly and then try and access the forum all I can see when I click the link is forumdisplay.php. But when I disable vBSEO and rename .htaccess and then recreate the forum, and then re-enable vBSEO and rename .htaccess correctly it will take me to showthreads.php and display the listings.

The same applies to GARS Lite review forums. I tried searching on these forums but could not find an answer. Sorry if my explanation is not very clear, but it is hard to get across.

Any ideas?

do you mean you create subforum with certain title in vB admincp? Could you please provide more details (example URLs)?

Okay look at the Reviews forum and try and view the thread (without clicking on the last posted by link) in that forum on Just Extreme Metal Forum - Powered by vBulletin and you will see what I mean.

It seems to occur with forums under a catagory, I have not tested it out with subforums.

Oh by the way the other forums on the site were created with vBSEO disabled and the .htaccess file renamed to .htaccess2 (disabled). I have no idea why vBSEO seems to cause this problem.

Ah, I believe I know what you mean - you have both category and subforums with the same title "Reviews", which results in exactly the same URLs for them. You should modify one of the titles so that vBSEO can distinguish these links
