    installation troubles

    PHPInfo: phpinfo()

    I've tried installing with both Zend and Ioncube with no luck.

    Adding these lines to my php.ini file makes my site have a blank screen.
    [Zend]
    zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-2_6_0
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-2_6_0
    zend_optimizer.version=2.6.0
    zend_extension=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager.so
    zend_extension_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager_TS.so
    any ideas on what I have to do to get this working on either?

    Ion cube generates the Site Error:vbseo.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator

    I've modified the [Zend] section to look like this:

    [Zend]
    zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-2_6_0
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-2_6_0
    zend_optimizer.version=2.6.0
    zend_extension=/www/d/dcabarle/htdocs/vBulletin/ioncube/ioncube_loader_fre_4.2.so ;changed this line
    zend_extension_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager_TS.so

    and now when visiting my site, you get the actual site and not a white page. Still, when using the provided .htaccess, I get the site Error indicated above. is the ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so file missing? Isn't that for Linux?

    Hello Dennis,

    You can download the latest ionCube loaders for your OS here:

    I've already done that. Then I get a corrupt file error. THe instructions here say to locate duplicate copies of the file, but I've searched high and low for them and couldn't find duplicates. I then tried to re-upload the file that is 'corrupt' but that didn't work either.

    I've modified this line again to:

    zend_extension=/www/d/dcabarle/htdocs/vBulletin/ioncube/ioncube_loader_fre_4.4.so

    I've uninstalled / re-installed... uploaded all files in binary mode.

    my front page comes up. When I click on a thread on the front page, it brings me to here:

    /htdocs/vBulletin/new-jersey-fly-fishing-forum/4623-pictures.html

    and tells me the page was not found on the server.

    I've tried the rewritebase option with and without a path but it results with the same error message.

    why is it including the /htdocs in the path? I don't think it's supposed to do that.

    Hello Dennis,

    We'll need ftp access to further troubleshoot this issue. Please submit a ticket with this info.

    Regards,
    Juan
