    Installation Issue

    Hey,

I'm trying to install the latest VBSEO onto my VB 3.6.8 forum. I have uploaded all of the files properly (I believe). Before I chmod the config_vbseo.php file, if I visit vbseocp.php, it works, though it tells me I need to chmod the file. Once I chmod the file though, when I access that page it tells me "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/speaktee/public_html/vbseocp.php on line 643". If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Jay

try uploading the vbseocp.php file again in ascii mode. the new version is not encrypted, and some people may be still in the habbit of using binary.

sounds like the file wasn't COMPLETELY uploaded (bad ftp x-fer, etc)

So the page comes up fine until you chmod the config file?

Did you reupload all files, or just that one?

I tried simply reuploading that one first, as that didn't work I attempted to reupload them all. Same situation just happened over again.

Can you open a support ticket with a temporary FTP login?

Use the Support Ticket system, so it will be easier to communicate, and in case another technician needs to take over. Thanks!
