    Installation help?

    I installed vbseo through my product manager as described in the included readme file. After that nothing on my site worked and everything lead to a 404. Am I missing something?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Yes I did, was I supposed to make any changes to it? Also it goes in the forums root directory correct? (ex http://domain.com/forums/)

    Ok, to make sure I changed the ftp prog to binary not auto and re-upped them. Now I am receiving the error:

    /home/com/kgparts/html/forums/vbseo.php not found on this server.

    I know that is the wrong path to the file, but where do I change that? I thought it would be in the htaccess file, but I see no reference to it there. What lead me to believe that is because if I rename the htaccess file to anything else the site works fine.

    Thanks

    It seems like your server is misconfigured. In your config_vbseo.php file, find this option:
    VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT
    and assign the correct path to your root. That should fix it!

    Ok did that and still....
    The requested URL /home/com/kgparts/html/forums/vbseo.php was not found on this server.

    here is what I changed... I confirmed this is the correct path to my forums root directory where vbseo.php is located:

    define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT', '/home/u6/kgparts/html/forums');
