    install probs...

    Hi,

we have bought a licence now, and we are now testing...we have downloaded the ioncube version, installed it with the doc and now it seems that vbSEO not works...see http://forum.dmk-internet.com/ ? It seems that the problem is ioncube, but with the test script from ioncube, it says correctly installed...

also it seems that we got 2 different test results with the test script:

    a) in Browser completely unable, see http://forum.dmk-internet.com/test.php
"The Loader was not installed. Check with your host or system administrator that enable_dl in your php configuration is turned on and that safe_mode is turned off." - Note: enable_dl is turned on, safe_mod is off, server have been restarted

    b) in ssh, we have no probs, but we are not able to fill out the form in SSH

If someone needs more info about PHP, here it is: http://forum.dmk-internet.com/test2.php

Any ideas or sultions to solve this problem ? Thanks in advance,

    jerry

    Re: install probs...

    Hi Jerry,

    a) have you tried the zend version?
    b) it is possible that 'standalone' php uses different configuration in command line comparing to apache php module.

    Re: install probs...

    a) No not really, because the test.php has said before, that ZEND can't be found, but its already installed see link to test2.php above...so it seems to be easier, to install the ioncube-version

    b) in which configuration can this be found (to be corrected) ?

    thanx for Your answer,

    jerry

    Jerry,
please make sure that file permissions for ioncube/* files allow reading them for php process (it is required to load the ioncube extension).

    Re: install probs...

    Jerry,

When you say you run the scripts via SSH, your running something similar to 'php ioncubetester.php' type thing?

If so, on my system at least, PHP "command line" has a different php.ini file then the PHP "apache module" -- so it could be that the loader is setup correctly in the command line ini file, and not the apache module ini file.

    (I'm on Gentoo)

    Could this be your problem?

    Re: install probs...

    Hello Jerry,

Based on the test.php results, your current server settings don't seem to support either method.

    a) No not really, because the test.php has said before, that ZEND can't be found, but its already installed see link to test2.php above...so it seems to be easier, to install the ioncube-version
Zend refers to the Zend Optimizer (not the Zend engine). Assuming that you are on a shared environment, the best way to address this is contacting your hosting company and providing them the following link (https://zend.com/store/free_download.php) - - Zend is a standard in the industry, so they shouldn't have any issues with it.

    b) in which configuration can this be found (to be corrected) ?
Ioncube runtime loaders require safe mode = off AND that your server configuration has the dl() function enabled (default on most hosts). Alternatively, you can have your host install the ionCube loaders natively (this requires them to edit the php.ini file)

Please let me know if you get this sorted out.
