Install problems - PHP 4.4.1

Getting the following error:

vbseocp.php encoded as type [0/0] cannot be decoded by this version of the PHP Loader. For help please contact support@ioncube.com or check for a loader supporting this encoded file.

Any advice appreciated.

Note: I ran the test script, and installed the IonCube version.

Edit: Reuploading everything right now with Force Binary selected. WS_FTP was in Auto mode before, so I'm thinking it may have gone ASCII.

Update: that didn't cut it.

Looks like the Ioncube loader is running. Installing their helper script gets me:

An ionCube Loader file is required by PHP to read files encoded with the ionCube Encoder. This page will determine how you can install Loaders on this particular server.

An ionCube encoded file has been loaded successfully.
Encoded files should now function correctly.

If you have a problem with your PHP application, please contact the application provider.

Got it sorted out. Turns out there was another call to the ioncube loader in my php.ini file to an older version. Commenting it out and pointing it at the new version worked.
