vbseocp.php should be in your forumhome directory. Is vBulletin in your root directory?

Did you check to see if you have zend or ioncube installed and then upload the appropriate version? Did you run the test.php download to check?

    Testing Server... Zend OptimizerYes IoncubeYes
Congratulations! The software should install on your server with no server changes needed.
You should download and install the Zend Encoded version of the software.

Did you upload all the files in binary mode? Set your ftp program to binary not auto. encoded files must be uploaded in binary mode.

try a new FTP client. Some, even when checked, use the default for the file type.

I suggest FileZilla. you can get it at sourceforge for free.

theres an option in the top menu for transfer mode.

    Hello,

this error means that files were not uploaded in binary mode (binary should be forced for the transfer). Please open a support ticket with ftp access if you still have the issue.
