Try turning off the "Force Forum Root as Homepage?" option.

Problem solved. Actually I upgraded vb and vbseo at same time and in that cmps file index.php got replaced by vb's index.php so there were 2 forum indexes - forum.php and index.php. I have now restored index.php of CMPS from CMPS mod.

    Thanks anyways.
