The last step of the installation instructions tells you how to access the vBSEO Control Panel.
D. Optional Step - If you would like to set up your URLs using the interface (vbseocp.php):
- CHMOD 666 the 'vB-root/includes/config_vbseo.php' file
- Using your browser, visit: http://www.yoursite.com/vB-root/vbseocp.php
- For security purposes CHMOD 644 back your 'config_vbseo.php' file after configuring vBSEO
What's the URL to your site?
could someone help me?
vBSEO isn't installed on that site....
how do i install it
because i followed the directions and everything :(
It appears that you uploaded the "upload" folder into the root of your site, when you need to upload the contents of the upload folder into your forum directory.
i have another problem
i installed it now the links to my sections have changed
Links to sections have changed? vBSEO rewrites the links to contain the titles of the forums/threads if that's what you mean. That's what it is supposed to do.![]()
Does your server have mod_rewrite enabled, and did you upload the .htaccess file into the forum root?
It's usually listed in your PHPINFO. If you want to open a support ticket and provide FTP access we can check into it.
