how to decrease vbseo inquiry?

at sometimes i got high load on server from ../vbseo.php


so what should i do to decrease vbseo inquiries which will decrease the load

These are 99.99% related to limited server resources , non optimised servers etc.

vBSEO is being used on biggest boards on the world without an issue.

so is there any settings need to verify or to decrease load

Having the same issue, I'm reciving emails about high load on server almost everyday! all related to vbseo.php

I was fine on shared hosting, so I moved to VPS because vbseo high resource usage (and coz' my hosting kicked me out), but now, I'm still receiving the same mails.

Avg. of 3000 visits per day. I uninstalled vBSEO since yesterday, almost 9 months of suffering has gone haha, not really, vBSEO is a good mod but need to improve the performance!

Again , vBSEO is being used on biggest forums online. The issue has nothing to do with vBSEO. It is directly related to your server and server optimization.

I'm pretty sure of that, but they're not running over shared or "basic" VPS servers. I have no money to pay a dedicated server.

If you can't upgrade your servers or pay for them , you should not target growth or traffic increase. If your traffic increases , you basically need to improve your servers. It is a simple fact.

I would recommend then a deep server optimization. vBSEO it's an additional software it's expected to use additional resources, however it wouldn't cause the server to crash unless you use a very small vps or a shared solution for a website that would need a bigger server with more resources.

As mentioned before, please try a deep server optimization, a dedicated sys admin or maybe the host would help on that as it's directly related to your server conf, if that doesn't help, you must upgrade to a bigger server.
