How to convert from thread ID to URL

Hello, I'm the user from foro acuarios : www.acuarios.es - Powered by vBulletin

I have a special php script built in Acuarios - El portal sobre acuarios that points to the last posts in the forum (reading from the database).

right now it makes the links using the following links:

http://foro.acuarios.es/showthread.php?p=3291#post3291

but it would be much better to be able to write the urls that vbseo optimize:

http://foro.acuarios.es/nuestros-acuarios/553-algunas-fotos-mis-habitantes.html#post3291

it's written in the database somehow or does vbseo provide some kind of api to be able to do it?

Hello Miguel,

all URLs on vBulletin-powered pages should be automatically rewritten, for the custom pages you can use vBSEO Functions for Extensibility to rewrite URLs.
