Host says dont use vbseo?

Hello,

I am using version 3.7.0 vBulletin
and 3.3.0 vbseo

I have been having CPU spikes and I dont know much about it. My account will be suspended unless
I fix this

I asked for some more information from my host about the details and this is what they said;

We would suggest you to try another add-on for your forum to achieve SEO goal. Add-on you are using appears to be CPU consuming. Yes, we have suggested you to upgrade your forum to the latest available version because latest version always has patched scripts, removed any vulnerabilities.

In addition to this please optimize your database. For all this you may have to contact your developer.

I would love some help with this as I dont know much about how CPU spikes and what causes it.

I dont want to upgrade forum but can update vbseo version if needed

Hello ,

You are using an outdated version of vBSEO which has reached EOL very long time ago. Please try upgrading to latest stable vBSEO.

Counterpoint, you should upgrade/change your hosting provider to one that can support your sites resource needs.
