    Hello,

vbseo.php processes nearly every request, thus it always shows vbseo.php as being the culprit script when in fact it can be the script it is parsing (showthread, etc)

It is certainly possible that you have simply out grown your current server and it's time to upgrade, or you're getting many search engine bots on your site and you may need to tame them with a crawl-delay setting in robots.txt.

Just check it and it is even 50% less than usual.

Now I have about 60% online users than usual and load is alredy over 4.

I asked my host and they again said that it is vbseo.php. I realy don't know where else to look.

    It helped , thanks Brian.
I have one more problem so I will put it here, don't need to open new thread.
Last few days my visits start to falling down . Yesterday I had 25% less visits than usual and every day is less.
I was looking in analytic and what is confusing me is that proportional is still as usual, so it mean search, direct and referal visits are going down but I can't understand why. I didn't have any downtime last two days but it still continue to falling.

Its possible that due to the slow load times, google bumped you down the list on a couple key results pages.

I'm having similar problems - very high CPU load (over 10, on average). I'm going to install XCache tonight in hopes of solving the issue. I'll post back tonight with results!

If that doesn't fix things, I may consider a hardware upgrade

Yes, I was thinking that first, but direct and refferal visits falling at same rate.
Proportionaly nothing has been change ( still have about 72% visits from google )....hope you understand me now what I am trying to tell you.

Earlier my load average was above 10 on a regular basis. I just installed xcache and I haven't seen it rise above 4. I HIGHLY recommend xcache for speeding up vbseo.php.
