    Google and Yahoo auth

    Hi,

I registered my page at Google and Yahoo and now these services try to authenticate my page.
I had to upload a .html file to my domain root.

If vBSeo's .htaccess file is in the root the services cannot access their authentication files. I rename them from .htaccess to .htaccess.old for example but this is not a fine solution cause yahoo auth takes up to 24h and I don't want to leave the domain root without my .htaccess file.

How can I add a line to the .htaccess file that the google and yahoo .html is not rewriten and directly accessible?

    Kind regards

The .html file should be accessible even with .htaccess in place. It works fine on all of my sites.

It may be a server configuration issue on your server related to .html files.

    Its not in my case.
Is there a way to add a rewrite line to the .htaccess file to point directly to such a file?

He needs the exact URL to the exact filename on your server so he can troubleshoot. You can PM it to him if you don't want it public.
