You have mixed up www's and non-www's.

    http://www.fastluxuryforums.com/foru...p_index.xml.gz
is the correct url to load, but it fails because you are calling the non-www version of the style which causes it to fail.

make sure EVERYTHING is set one way or the other.

    Thank you for the info!

But, I am confused on the information a bit... Let's say, I want to keep just the www. version.. Which options to I follow? All of them for 'www.'?

yes, you'd want to have all setting locations and files have www's on them

Okay, so after I figure that out.. I have your sitemap generator installed.. yet google can't find it.

When I fix the www. situation, will it also fix the sitemap issue?

The www's are what's breaking the sitemap. Once that's fixed, it should load correctly.

I have no idea what how or why you are looking at lightttpd.conf for? you are on apache. whatever you are doing in there, is wrong....

The sitemap runs once a day via our task. It is suggested to leave it that way.

    Helllo Costel,

There's a directive in the vBSEO default .htaccess file that is disabled by default. You should find this:

    #RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
    #RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

and uncomment it (remove the '#' symbol at the beginning) to redirect non-www's to www's. Replace yourdomain.com with your forum URL:

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.fastluxuryforums\.com
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.fastluxuryforums.com/forum/$1 [L,R=301]

Once you are done with that, try to resubmit your sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools.

vBSEO .htaccess file is named as .htaccess and it is located on your forum home. Some ftp programs needs to be correctly configured to display hidden files.
