I went into my sitemap account and got some errors like this:

What is sitemap url that you submitted?

Hi Oleg,
The one where the xml.gz files exist:
domain.com/forum/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_1.xml.gz
You should submit sitemap files in forums root only:
domain.com/forum/sitemap_1.xml.gz
(it is rewritten to /vbseo_sitemap/data/ with a RewriteRule in .htaccess)

Ah ha, got it! Should I also submit the sitemap_index.xml.gz?
Yes, you may submit ALL sitemap files to have track on each one.![]()
