Google 404 Errors

This is a discussion on Google 404 Errors within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; I went to my Google Webmaster Tools and it appears to be showing some incorrect links. I'm not too sure ...

Google 404 Errors
I went to my Google Webmaster Tools and it appears to be showing some incorrect links. I'm not too sure where it is getting this :(

it appears to be adding a extra /forums/ for all my pages including member profiles (IE forums.houseofcrazed.com/forums/) the /forums/ isn't needed at all.

Those are probably left over from something else... Your sitemap files have the correct URLs in them. I just took a look....

Google is still reporting a bunch of new 404 errors trying to link forums.houseofcrazed.com/forums

Is this maybe something it's trying to re-index that it had done previously?

You can setup 301- redirection for forums.houseofcrazed.com/forums links in .htaccess right after "RewwriteEngine on" line:
