    Getting Fatal Error

    New install and getting Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /var/www/html/forum/includes/class_dm_user.php on line 1996
    when user tries to reply to a post. Downloaded last night. Saw some fixes dated pretty far back so before I do anything I figured I would check first.

    This sounds like you may need to make change to your PHP configuration, related to available memory. Please open a support ticket:

    Hi Ed - (In case you have not yet done so), keep in mind that until the support team assists you, it is best to remove vBSEO to avoid any downtime.

    do you mean completly removing all files or if I am missing something is there a different way to do it.

    Remove the vBSEO product from within your vBulletin AdminCP, and remove the .htaccess file. You can leave the other files on the server.

    increased the memory_limit setting in the PHP configuration (php.ini file) to 16MB, works great now.
