    forumdisplay and vbseocp.php no show

Just installed latest candidate with vB 3.6.3. Haven't tried all but page urls are being rewritten except i can't see forumdisplay-type pages. Threadview page urls are being transformed.

Also, i can run vbseocp either.

    I am using ioncube.

Not sure if you get any values from includes/config.php, but I have a master config that 'feeds' vBulletin's config file. Please advise if i need to provide these directly in vBulletin's config.php file.

I haven't tried this yet on live 'staging' server yet. I am running on local server with host domain mapped to local ip. vBSEO has granted access to run this domain locally.

I guess a nice first step would be to see why vbseocp isn't coming up.

Thanks! I look forward to getting this thing going!!

UPDATE: I went ahead and installed on remove staging server running apache/php ioncube. Same behaviour. Can see threads resolved and other misc pages looking fine. BUT same as with local, no show on forumdisplay.php pages or vbseocp.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am trying to make my Saturday productive.

    I uploaded previous config_vbseo.php version dated: 1/26/06.
    Same behaviour.

I then installed on a another vb3.6.2 instance and vbseo appears to work. I can log into vbceocp.

So that leads me to suspect that one of my 'hacks' is affecting vbseo. I'll go fish but if you can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Normally I can use phped with its debugger to walk right through the code but, well, I can't with ioncube installed. :(

Ok, I see. Just in case, open your config_vbseo.php file and make sure it is readable (not encoded), as there was an issue with RC1 uploaded with encoded config file.

So there must be another problem. What is your forums URL format as defined in vbseocp?

    FYI:
Here is an error that came up with I first launched the version that IS running at the moment.. 3.6.2.

Fatal error: Cannot create references to/from string offsets nor overloaded objects in C:\w\nb362\includes\class_core.php on line 1274

    For whatever it is worth.

This issue has been addressed in vBSEO3.0.0, could you please try the latest vBSEO3.0.0RC1 build? (you can find it in download area)

In trying to determine where to look for as to why forumdisplay.php pages are noshow, it would be productive to determine why vbseocp isn't running. If my hacks are a problem that is preventing forumdisplay pages from running, that wouldn't explain why vbsecocp isn't working. May I ask, what does vbseocp depend on?

    Thanks!
