    Following Sitemap error:

After running the site generator for the first time, I get the following error when I click the link

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

    http://board.rapmusic.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

I had paid VBSEO to install it, not sure what was not done or if we need to set different permissions.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I just submitted the above one and it all worked correctly except I have a different problem. You now have Too many Sitemaps on your sitemap_index. I will forward this issue to Oleg.

    Hello Jeff,

You are going to need to change your sitemap settings a bit. Find: Max URLs in Sitemap Files in the settings, and change it to 20,000 or so. Then you are going to need to remove all of the .gz files from your vbseo_sitemap/data/ directory on your ftp and regenerate the sitemap. Then go ahead and submit it to your webmaster tools once it has finished generating.

When I resubmit the link to google it says:

Your Google Sitemap Index URL: http://board.rapmusic.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

General HTTP error: 404 not found
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

Did you remove all of the .gz files in the data directory? It should have taken quite a bit longer then a few seconds.

you may want to consider NOT including some sections.

I only export threads, blogs (if you have vb blog), and tags. nothing more.
