File Does not exist - Clientscript

I have been getting these errors in my logs for over a year now and can't seem to track it down. I've tried file permissions, upgrading vbulletin and vbseo and everything else I can think of and these errors will not stop. I upgraded to the latest vbulletin and vbseo last week. It's not on every page hit its completely random. The only thing that is consitantly the same is the error is always showing the /clientscript/ folder.

There are examples of the errors. I cut the full path out and the refferer.

These make no sense what so ever. None of these files existed and never did. Its like something is getting garbled up somwhere.

    File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/vbulletin_mention=,
    File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/amen> <div><a href=,
File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/ id=,
    File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/ame,
File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/vbulletin_global&showposts=0&starteronly=1&exactna me=1&searchuser=svmoore,
File does not exist: /home/****/public_html/clientscript/vbulletin_globado=process&showposts=0&starteronly= 1&exactname=1&searchuser=slick rick,
And on and on and on with similar errors. After upgrading I recently started getting file does not exsist for style css files. Example.
    clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-b747ff3f-00008.css

It's very common for errors like these to show up. Google/etc sometimes try to load everything.

Look at the IPs on the log entries and run them against an IP lookup /dns/domain tool, and you will likely see that 99% of the hits are from bots or simply someone copy/pasted a link incorrectly to that resource.

I haven't turned vbseo off yet. Its completely random and can take a few hours for it to happen again. Other times it happens frequently. I really dont want to turn vbseo off. I dont know if it's any one thing causing the problem but maybe a combination of things on my server. Whats weird is it's always the /clientscript/ folder.

It's not a bot or anything like that. They are not copy/paisting links, they are just browsing the site. I have ran the IP's many times and its members or guests. There are no visible errors when browsing the site, just errors in the logs.
