Fatal error: Out of memory - In vbseo.php

More and more members are creating posts about this error message:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 262144) (tried to allocate 268032 bytes) in C:\www\..\..\vbseo.php on line 322

I have Memory_limit (256Mb) memory allowed in php.ini. So that must be more than enough. Normally this is like 16mb.

    I am running vBSEO 3.0.0 RC8 and Vbulletin 3.6.4

    Please let me know ASAP.

    Joe

Please ask your host to increase your memory_limit.

32M is generally more than enough for most sites.

Did you re-start apache after the change to make it take effect?

It was allready on 128M before I even did anything with the server. But after changing it first to 512 and then to 800, i reloaded httpd. My hoster said that should be enough.

But like I said, it was allready on 128M for starters. Looks like something really went wrong. I disabled the sitemap generator and VBSEO completely now. The problem is I can't reproduce, it only happens on busy moments on the forum.
