Question Facebook Like and CMS Article Rewrites

I am not sure how to describe my problem, but I believe it is related to how vbseo rewrites urls.

Whenever there is an apostrophe in the article's title, the Facebook like button refers to the homepage - rather than the article itself. For example, please check out these links:

    with:
    GenXGlow.com - Free Music Tuesday!
    GenXGlow.com - The America's Best DJ Tour 2010

    without:
GenXGlow.com - House Podcast Series: Episode 13 with Ricky Ryan
GenXGlow.com - Electric Zoo In Review: The Up And Down Sides

You can see that the articles with an apostrophe in the title have far more likes, this is because it is referring to the homepage of the website - rather than the article's page.

Is this a vbseo issue or a vbulletin issue?

    Hello,

vBSEO stips the apostrophe character from URLs, so it doesn't seem to be related to link formatting, the FB like link is:
    Code:
    http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.genxglow.com%2Ffree-music-tuesday-a489&layout=standard&show_faces=false&width=260&action=like&font=tahoma&colorscheme=light&height=27
Can you try to temporarily remove aphostrophe from title to check this?

Hmm, didn't seem to change anything. Weird, I am not sure what is causing the problem then. Any ideas?

It is happening on an article with no special chars in the article here"

Just noticed that when I try to share the article through our Fan Page, it keeps showing the homepage as the link too. Very weird...
