    Extra Slash in URLs

I noticed after installing vbseo on the my forum that URLs point to the forum from my RSS feed had two slashes.

    EX: http://www.domain.com/forum//showthread.php?t=64

I was surprised that these URLs weren't written with SEO friendly URLs. (I'm guessing I missed a setting or something).

Any ideas on the double slash issue?

I was playing with htaccess on my site root before I noticed this issue, but even when I removed my htaccess the problem persists.

    Hello,

make sure that you have forums URL defined in vB admincp options without trailing slash:
    Code:
    http://www.domain.com/forum

It turns that that they weren't joking when they specifically say

    URL of your forum.
Note: do not add a trailing slash. ("/")
    I thought they were kidding!

In all seriousness, I've never made so many idiot mistakes in my life when dealing with a new script. I've been working 7 days a week since May on the big site launch which will be in a week or so. So maybe I'm just burned out!
