Extra Copyright

I checked my plugin manager and I have the plugin only installed once but I have TWO copyright notices. Anybody?

Try removing the vBSEO product completely (make sure no plugins are left) and re-upload the product .xml file.

Still there. I uninstalled the plugin and then re-installed. I also check my templates and the : <!--VBSEO_COPYRIGHT--> code only appears once. I also have the conditional sig hack and google site map plugins installed would that make a difference?

When I view the page source this is what appears

Hmm... weird. Try removing the <!--VBSEO_COPYRIGHT--> comment altogether.

I completely removed the code: <!--VBSEO_COPYRIGHT--> from ALL templates and it still shows up twice still. It must be pulling it from somewhere else.

You want the vb admin panel codes so you can verify?

Did you clear your cache ?

I have my browser set to update pages on each visit but just to be sure I did delete my cache. Don't you see it?

Hi,

Make sure you don't have duplicates of your vBSEO xml plugin (earlier versions) or product (later versions). Also ensure you have not modified your vB 3.5.x functions.php file inadvertently as changes are required on this file for vB 3.0.x versions only.

As always, it helps to read the instructions properly! It was indeed the extraneous addition to includes/functions.php
