Excluding a directory from vbseo rewrite rule?

I am back with another little problem :( Not really a support issue or a problem with vbseo but I will give it a try here if any one of you can help me out

My forum is on the home page India Broadband and I want to set up a blog here : :http://www.indiabroadband.net/blog but due to vbseo rewrite rules it just doesnt happen :(

I am sure I read something somewhere about this on how to exclude a particular directory from the rewrite rules but cant find it anywhere now :(

    Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can place a .htaccess file in that directory, with one line in it:

    RewriteEngine Off

I have the same question, i want a subdirectory not to be re-written by vbseo, but there is an .htaccess file in there that has it's own re-write stuff and i want to keep that, how do i go about telling vbseo not to rewrite that dir?

Just add this right at the top :
