error when moving servers

Hello,

I recently copied all of my files from my old host's server to the new one...I placed them into their own directory (HP_orig)...I didn't want them on the site's "root" yet until I make sure everything is OK...Of course, it's not...

When typing in the address for the old forum software(It's vBulletin 3.5.4 BTW)...Forums - Powered by vBulletin, I was HOPING it would work just like the old forum did...It looks good...Just like a regular forum...(It's barebones...I didn't import the old database yet)...

The problem is when I try to do ANYTHING...

I can't click a thread, I can't click a user, I can't even log in...

I get this error message...

Quote:
Site error: the file /var/www/vhosts/hardcorepolitics.com/httpdocs/HP_orig/vbseo.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.0.so to be installed by the site administrator.
Two things...

1) I copied the files to the new server using CoffeeCup FTP, so I don't know if this was done using binary or ASCII...That MAY be the issue...

2) What I'd LIKE to do is remove vBSEO altogether to get the forum up, then re-install it completely(Installing it on the old server was a breeze)...

Unless there's a quickfix I'm unaware of, how do I remove it totally?...Keep in mind...I can't even access my AdminCP...

Thank you...

You can remove all vBSEO files and the .htaccess file to get your forums back up.

It looks like your new server doesn't have the latest ionCube loaders installed. Ask your host to do that and you should be good to go.

Thank you for the VERY prompt response!...

Can you be more specific as to "all vBSEO files"?

I would guess the "config.php", the "functions_config.php" and the "ioncube" directory...

Anything else?

These should be the only ones you REALLY need to remove:

.htaccess in your forum root.

And:
/includes/functions_vbseo.php
/includes/functions_vbseo_extra.php
