error with the linkback, and search thread feature

Hi, in my from in the showthread template at the top it shows LinkBack, Thread Tools, Display Modes which are all suppose to be drop down menus. Just like this forum. But the drop downs don't work in internet explorer. In the template it shows

<if condition="is_browser('ie')"> accesskey="3"</if>

right where the linkbacks, thread trools and display modes start but im not to sure what that is.
