    Error after installation of VBSEO

    Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased VBSEO and installed it on my test forums (thankfully), over here.

I'm getting the following error in the admin cp:
    Code:
Site error: the file /var/www/test2.prophecy.co.za/includes/functions_vbseo.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so to be installed by the site administrator.

and this one on the front page:
    Code:
Site error: the file /var/www/test2.prophecy.co.za/vbseo.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so to be installed by the site administrator.

All I did so far was upload the files and set their permissions right (just chown them to the apache server user and not root), and then import the xml file as a product.

Something is slightly weird, though, since when I started uploading the files, I immediately started getting errors. How is this possible? Are the files already referenced before I import the product?

    Hello Firestar,

please download the Ioncube library from PHP Encoder, protection, installer and performance tools from ionCube: Loader Download page:
    http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader...lin_x86.tar.gz
unpack it and upload ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so file to ioncube/ folder at your host.

Yes, vBSEO is processing incoming request via rewrite rules included in .htaccess file.

    Hi,

Thanks for the speedy response! And that on a sunday evening!

I just found the .htaccess file referincing the new files. I'll get that file and let you know if that fixes it.

    Thanks

ok, I've downloaded the file, uploaded it to my ioncube folder and set it's permissions, and for some weird reason it still is looking for it. Is it perhaps looking for it somewhere else?

Oh, and I've compared the file names that the error is throwing out and the downloaded file is exactly the same, so it's not that :(

ok, I've now removed the .htaccess file again, but it's still looking for the file. Also, the front page error message now changed from vbseo.php to includes/functions_vbseo.php looking for this iocube lib.

    You are welcome!

update: 64bit version of ioncube loaders was required in this case.
