Thanks for rapid response Mert...but...

where do changes need to be made?

This problem came about after reloading the .htaccess file, and after reinstalling vbA Dynamics. Must I reset something on the server here or chnage code somewhere - and, of course, if the latter is true, 'where?'

Because my site is now completely off-line I am a bit in a hurry to get this sorted. Thanks for your feedbakc and help, Mert!

not the same.

your config file is wrong for your db settings.

Just a note, your config.php file is located from within your includes folder on your server.
