to clean code or not to clean code, that is the question

not sure if this is the right forum so i apologize if not....

in the vbseo control panel there is a feature that allows vbseo to automatically clean up the html on the page. there is a warning there stating that if the on page html code is not correct than this feature may cause additional problems. if i turn this feature on so that vbseo reduces unnecessary code but there ARE errors on my pages, can i turn his feature off and have my code revert back so that no damage is done?

hope this question is clear. thanks for your time and consideration.

Yes... it's simply an on/off switch.... it doesnt physically alter templates or anything.... it just operates at render time.
