Can't remove Sitemap Downloads Log records

Hi I can't remove Sitemap Downloads Log records. I have 592 pages of them, I'm hittinig the "Remove record" links, it asks "Are you sure?", I hit the "Ok" button, the page refreshes and no changes - the record is there. I tried to check all and the "remove selected" button - the same result. Please help! My forum is really slow. It was really fast when I moved it to a dedicated server few years ago, but month after month it was getting slower & slower.

I believe deleting ton of log files might help. If you can advice what else I can do to make it faster, as it was before - please do.

    P.S. I use VBSEO 3.5.0 RC2

You can remove them manually from your FTP

Thanks for prompt reply! I deleted all log files in /vbseo_sitemap/data/hits (it looks like it was SE Bots Activity Logs - no it's empty in the vBSEO Sitemap reports). I also deleted all log files from /vbseo_sitemap/data - the "Report list" is empty now. But the "Sitemap Download Logs" still shows 592 pages and I can't see any log files under the "vbseo_sitemap" folder on my server.

Please let me know where can I find these log files on my server?

Thanks! It did the trick! Does vBSEO requires some kind of maintenance (cleaning up)? I didn't touch it maybe a year. Any other files to delete?

In the vbseo_sitemap_config.php file, you can set it to hold logs for X days.

Another question, if you're being so kind to answer so fast. I just checked google webmaster tools. In sitemaps section it says there are like 280.000 urls in sitemaps but indexed by google about 1.000. Does it mean that google recognized those 280.000 pages like trashy and don't want to analize them? Do I want to change config of vBSEO say not include urls of user profiles pages or poles pages to minimize the "content empty" pages urls in the sitemap?

It takes time... but yes, that's likely too many urls unless you have a million post forum.
