Can`t get to my root?

Hi, just installed the script. Seems like everything is working (forums, threads, pages), but I can`t get to my root, which is the full domain name (I don`t have domain.com/forum). What can be wrong here?

Please give us more details on this issue: which kind of error fo you get? (btw, I can access the root of the site specified as your homepage without a problem now).

Yes, it`s strange. I could see the not open message too. Try accessing it now and you`ll see what I mean (I have opened it again).

Hm.. don't you have any other rewrite-related directives in your .htaccess OR httpd.conf?

No, checked the httpd.conf, and have overwritten my previous mod_rewrite .htaccess with this new one.

I had this issue yesterday.. I had been stupid enough to accidentally copy my /forums/ .htaccess into my root.

A check of my cpanel's error log showed that many accesses to /root/vbseo.php had failed, which made me go DO'H!

Thanks for telling me, but I have checked and it is not the case here unfortunately (no errors on home pag in my log, and I have the right .htaccess). It is being worked on, but a solution has not been found. Obviously there must be a faulty setting on my server but I don`t know what yet.
