Blank pages after upgrade - randomly

Hello,

I just upgraded from 2.4.0 to 3.2.0 RC5. Everything went fine, except that I'm getting random blank pages all over the site. I'll click on a link, it'll come up with a 500 error. Then, if I click refresh one or more times, it finally comes up. Seems like maybe an .htaccess problem or something. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Thanks.

No, I did not make any modification to the .htaccess file. According to the upgrade instructions, it doesn't mention replacing this.

Is there a way to safely downgrade to version 3.1 so that I can get official support?

if you're getting 500's, you should also be writing an error_log entry for it.

pull your server logs and get us some details.
