    Bitfield Collision When Upgrading

    • Bitfield Collision: canadminvbgooglemap = canadminvbjournal
    Hello all -

I get this error when attempting to upgrade from vbseo_2.4.0_ioncube to vbseo_3-0-0_rc6c_ioncube.

    Some history:

I just upgraded vBulletin from 3.54 to 3.64. This went pretty smoothly. I have not upgraded my mods yet including the two shown above - vbgooglemap and vbjournal.

What does this error mean really?

What course of action should I take? Upgrade mods, then upgrade vbseo? Uninstall mods?

Thanks in advance. I am anxious to hear from you.

    caliman

It looks like two other hacks are colliding... vBGoogleMap and vBJournal. It's probably just now showing up because vBSEO forces the bitfields to be rebuilt.

Thanks. What would you do now if you were me?

Ok. I figured it out. I removed old mods and when I removed their related files in the /includes/xml folder. The error went away. FYI.
