Hi

Before making the update 3.1.0, i had a page rank of 4 and after the update i realized that the page rank is now 2 …

The seeting are the same, i don't understant

There is no way that vBSEO 3.1.0 would affect your Page Rank that quickly. 3.1.0 was only recently released, and Page Rank is only updated a few times a year at most.

Most sites are losing page rank. It has nothing to do with vBSEO and everything to do with Quality of backlinks. They are cracking down on link sellers. So if you have any paid links or links on sites with paid links then those links no longer have any PR value.

Or, if you have incoming links from sites who have dropped in PR, because they had paid links that are devalued, then those links carry less juice.

There is a funny saying about pagerank: the less you care about it, the more it goes up. And to some extent that's actually not far from the true if you think about it
