Access ./vbseocp.php, and visit the Other Enhancements category, and scroll down to Footer Archive Links, from then on you merely select the appropriate option for you, i am currently using "Add Links to the Archive Main Pages"

Thanks for the reply. Under "Other Enhancements", the only catagories I can see are ..... Cleanup HTML Code Remove Thread Preview Text Image Size Attributes ........ then the save button ? No mention of Footer Archive Links |

Ah ! Thanks for clearing that up. I've seen lots of references to it in the tips forums and thought I was going mad. Looking forward to it. |

| Re: Archive links in the footer
Nice sites by the way Just one more question ( I appreciate this isn't "troubleshooting" anymore ) I'm not sure I would want proper guests and members to see those links. Can they be colour coded to blend in with the footer ? Do you have the option to do that ? For example, my footer background is white ... text links are red. So I would like those 1,2,3 ... etc to be white so they are invisible as such ..... but could still be found by spiders. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere ( and I didn't want to start another thread re the same subject ) |

I don't think it is recommend to employ those sort of tactics. When search engines are indexing your content, they are doing so under the assumption that each aspect of clearly definable. Therefore when you are visually hiding certain aspects of your content from actual users and not robots it could be a "black-hat" SEO technique.
