Archive 301/Rewrite Settings - 301 not working for forum pages

I currently have Vbulletin archive enabled. It gets a large amount of traffic so rather than simply shutting it off, I am attempting to 301 all archive traffic to the full version. In VBSEO -> General Settings -> VB's Archive Options I've tried setting "301 Redirect vB's Archive Thread Pages" and "Rewrite + 301 Redirect Archive Pages". Both only seem to 301 the thread pages, not the forum pages.

    In other words

    d
    oes not get 301'ed, but

    http://www.myforum.com/forums/archiv.../t-217167.html

    gets 301 correctly to:

    http://www.myforum.com/forums/forumname/217167-threadname.html

    Any thoughts?

This is how it is designed. The forum list is still on the archive structure.

Is there an easy way to work around this and 301 the forum pages to their full version?

No, that is not how it was designed. If you don't get much traffic to the archive, i would recommend just disabling it entirely. It's simply not needed with vbseo.

Yeah thats the problem. I do get quite a bit of traffic to the archive forum pages. Looks like I will have to setup quite a few manual 301s.
