Archiv problems

Hello,

when i try to let my archive work under the normal /forum/archive/ url its not working. When i try to open the homepage of the archive under /forum/archive and habe /archive/ rewrite rule on, i get an redirect error from my browser. Redirect Limit reeched ...
Its always trying to open itself and going into a loop i think.

When i change the rewrite to /sitemap/ everything running fine ...?

I ran into a similar issue when I had a "stray" .htaccess further down in the directory tree.

Can you make sure you ONLY have ONE .htaccess file in the /forums/ directory?
