Re: Any ideas why Google is avoiding my site?

OK I have a dumb question. I can not find the location of my site maps. I ftp into the site in looked in my forums folder.

I see the /forums/vbseo_sitemap folder, but I do not see the files folder which should contain my site maps?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Any ideas why Google is avoiding my site?

I found the vbseo sitemaps, they were at the bottom of the data folder. I didn't think to scroll down past all the logs.

I have 25 site map files including the index. I manually submitted them all, I hope that was correct.......LOL

Note: This morning I checked google and had 110,000 pages indexed. That bouncing back from an all time low of 256.

It's been almost three years now and google is still avoiding my site. I once had 500,000+ pages indexed in google I now have 15,000+ Things are going backwards over time instead of forward.

Did it just drop now or was this over the 3 years slowly? I know 2 years ago alot of people lost alot of pages and then they slowly came back. I'm pretty sure it was called the "Big Daddy" update. I think they were losing actual space. Hope that doesn't happen again.

Are you currently running VBSeo or just the sitemap tool?

Miguel

I'm running vbseo, been doing that since the start some 3 years ago.

I just thought I might provide a update on a situtation I reported almost 3 years ago.
