Alright, I don't know what is going on.

    Hey,

Guess I don't really know enough about all the mod-rewrite and that stuff to get this all working out. All my setting are set pretty much to the defaults... I really don't know why this isn't working for me... I was under the impression that this was going to be an easy install and setup.

It seems to kick in and out of deciding whether it wants to work or not.. I don't know what is up with this... but here:

http://www.talkxhtml.com/listen-up-sound/ seems to work 100% of the time... it's a link to a forum, obviously

http://www.talkxhtml.com/ the link to the main website seems to not work almost all of the time, with a few exceptions.

Other various pages work too, but for the most part the forum is not functional.

    Please help me out here...

    Copy of .htaccess

    # Comment the following line (add '#' at the beginning)
    # to disable mod_rewrite functions.
    # Please note: you still need to disable the hack in
    # the vBSEO control panel to stop url rewrites.
    RewriteEngine On
    # Some servers require the Rewritebase directive to be
    # enabled (remove '#' at the beginning to activate)
    # Please note: when enabled, you must include the path
    # to your root vB folder (i.e. RewriteBase /forums)
    # RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^(sitemap.*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} (admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images)/
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !vbseourl=
    RewriteRule ^(.*\.php)$ vbseo.php?vbseourl=$1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
    RewriteRule ^(archive/.*)$ vbseo.php?vbseourl=$1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php?vbseourl=$1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]
Again, everything in the vbSEO is set pretty much to the defaults. At least all/most of the rewriting options. This probably has something to do with the htaccess file, I don't know. This is my first time playing around with the htaccess stuff.

    Thanks,

    Corey

    Hello Corey,

the problem is that some pages are not loaded, right?

Could you please check your webserver's error_log for a specific reason of the issue?

This was a new website and so far there have been no errors...

My error log on the server is completely empty...
