After two months only member pages got indeexed :(

Well ive had this for about 2 months now, im having serious issues with good indexing my site. Yahoo and google index the member pages and my non forum html but not the forum html. Ive been using the same url for 7 months. Can you guys help me out? Ive also been using the vbseo condition signatures, reqrite rules, sitemap submitor, and pretty much all stuff froim here. I need someone to help or ill pretty much kill vbseo on my server since its been doing nothing other then losing potential thread indexes.

This one is easy. You got guests blocked from viewing your forums, which means search engine spiders are blocked as well.

Also, make sure and set each individual forum to show all threads "since the beginning", and not just the "last month". I dont know how yours is set up because I cant see your forums.

Do those things and you will see results

Actually only 3 of my forums are actually blocked from viewing, the rest arent.

Also how do i set the bigginning thread thing in the admin cp?

Install and use the vBSEO Google / Yahoo Sitemap also.

Ok, then what do your Sitemap stats look like? Are the sitemap files being downloaded? Are the Bot logs showing that bots are visiting your site?

I would double check that, and I will go look again. When I went to yoru forum last night, they were all locked ( or at least the lock icon was showing up on every one of them)

edit - doublechecked and all your forums show to be closed to me as a guest. I realize that once I click on them, they work but they all show the locked icon. Could it be there is some setting related to that which is causing confusion for the spiders?

and for the record - if you upgrade to 2.3.2 you will notice a ton better performance and alot less server load than the version you are currently on.

That's an admin option; to show the lock icon if the user doesn't have permission to post there. They can still be open for viewing.
