403 - Forbidden
Finally got my webhost to install isapi_rewrite and placed the httpd.ini folder in my domain directory and now clicking on any forum or thread opens correctly with urls rewritten to .html format thus no more 404 error.

However, now whenever I click on any link that should take me back to the forumhome page I now get the 403 - Forbidden error. I appreciate any help you guys can give eliminate this error.

are you using default rewrite rules from isapi_rewrite.txt file?

Make sure that your IIS server is configured to use index.php as the index file for folders.

My host just solved our Error 403 by adding the following line to the .htaccess file: Options FollowSymLink
