Hi, with the sitemap plugin 1.2 and vbseo 2.2.1 I'm creating the google sitemaps. I splitted them to 20.000 url packages and received this way 26 sitemap-files + index file. I submitted all manually to google and google accessed them now. So far, so good However, google announced problems with several sitemap files. These are: http://www.kampfkunst-board.info/forum/sitemap_4.xml.gz ...13, 14, 15, 16, 2, 23, 6, 8, 9. The problems are either "invalid date" or "incorrect assembly" I had a look on file 4, which was a "incorrect assembly" problem and went to the line, google showed me (18632) There, the following tag is written: <url> <loc>http://www.kampfkunst-board.info/forum/f12/neuer-verband-fuer-asiatische-kampfk20832/</loc> <priority>0.57</priority> <lastmod>2005-11-15T02:34:51+00:00</lastmod> <changefreq>yearly</changefreq> </url> I don't know if this posting now can display the error, but within the <loc> tag an unallowed character is displayed at the end. Any idea to solv this problem? And I had a look on file 2, which had a "invalid date" problem. In line 7966 it says: url> <loc>http://www.kampfkunst-board.info/forum/195736-post3.html</loc> <priority>0.3</priority> <lastmod>2005-11-15T02:34:51+00:00</lastmod> <changefreq>yearly</changefreq> </url> <url> <loc>http://www.kampfkunst-board.info/forum/f63/hallo-kampfk14097/</loc> <priority>0.57</priority> <lastmod>2005-11-15T02:34:51+00:00</lastmod> <changefreq>yearly</changefreq> </url> In the mentioned line, I cannot see an error, but a few lines under it, the same unallowed characted appeared. Any ideas?

I believe, you have an acronym expantion setting in your vbseocp like: KK => kampfkünste And it is expanded within URL including "ü" character, which is not allowed. You should change this option to: KK => kampfkunste to get it working correctly. Please let me know if my guessing is incorrect

Hey Oleg, you guessed right It was: 'kks' => 'Kampfkünste' Now its: 'kks' => 'Kampfkuenste' I'll rebuild the sitemap. Regards, Sebastian |

I also added the sitemap files manually and got errors in all of them except the sitemap index file, I just deleted my submissions, but will look into it someday.
